OUR SERVICE FOR 21/2/25.

We came across the article here, last week, or early this week, and we saved it to be used for our Service this week. The subject attracted me to stop and read. I only read the bit that is displayed here, but it looks like it has more messages than what is displayed here. I really don’t have the time to read beyond the heading of a post here, I hardly do, unless, maybe, it comes from someone I know. Even then, I hardly read beyond three lines.This particular one, attracted my attention, because the picture that came with the post, LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE I KNOW. But for our Services here, we will try not to show the poster, when using his or her post. To be able to understand this person’s message here, we would like to know what he means by, `WHAT I USED TO WANT, DISGUSTS ME NOW`. If those things were GOOD things that anybody would like to want, and they are such that the Bible Condemns NOT; then this person should be sad and worry that, he is now hating them. Not unless he came to realize that, those things were causing him problems, for example, HEALTH-WISE. If those things were things GOOD to do, But HARD to do, yet the person was struggling to keep doing them, because of The Gospel of Jesus Christ; then it would be a shame if he withdraws from doing them. He would lose his GREAT REWARD, NOT ONLY HERE ON EARTH, BUT AFTER THIS WORLD. The Bible Says that, `HE THAT ENDURETH UNTO THE END, THE SAME SHALL RECEIVE THE CROWN OF GLORY`. I can gladly assure you that, even before THAT CROWN OF GLORY, there are other Blessings here to enjoy, legitimately, sweetly, and WITH RESPECT! The Blessings here, however, is nothing to Compare With THE GLORY THAT AWAITS THE FAITHGUL OF GOD, IN HEAVEN; if he or she shall endure unto the end. But whether the Blessing here is intangible, big, or even problems, THERE IS SOMETHING TO BE HAPPY ABOUT, BECAUSE OF THE HOPE OF THE REAL BLESSING TO COME-THE CROWN OF GLORY! There is JOY IN KNOWING THAT, YOU ARE SERVING GOD ACCORDING TO HIS EXPECTATION ON YOU. `Thou Good and Faithful Servant, Enter thou now INTO THE JOY OF THY LORD`, will be your Reward from Jesus, according to the Bible! Naturally, if someone is CHASING something that he or she knows that, after getting such a thing, his or her life will be CHANGED FOR GOOD, AND FOR LIFE, that person may not mind the STRUGGLE, SHAME, HEARTACHE, LABOUR, AND RESOURCES SPENT, INCLUDING MONEY AND LOSS OF RESPECT; WHILST CHASING SUCH A THING. But our advice here is that, NEVER CHASE ANYTHING OF THIS WORLD SO BLINDLY, WITH ALL WHAT YOU HAVE AT THE PRESENT THAT, YOU IGNORE CERTAIN QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK YOURSELF! Never Give a 100% HOPE for anything that is not ALREADY IN YOUR HANDS-AT YOUR REACH. Even if you have a 99% success in view, still pause after  a certain time and ask the following questions:

BEFORE YOU EVEN BEGIN TO CHASE THAT THING;

It looks a good thing to chase, and has a good prospect, BUT DOES MY CONSCIENCE CONDEMN ME FOR CHASING IT? IS THERE ANYTHING SINFUL IN HAVING MY GOAL, IF I SUCCEED? WILL I EVEN SUCCEED? WILL THE SUCCESS COME UNLESS I SHED AN INNOCENT BLOOD OR COMMIT OUTRAGIOUS SIN? WHAT WILL I LOSE AS I WILL BE CHASING THIS GOAL? HOW ABOUT SPENDING A LOT OF THINGS, THE ONES I PERCEIVE NOW, AND THE ONES I MAY NOT SEE NOW; YET, AT THE END OF IT, I DO NOT STILL ACHIEVE MY GOAL? WHAT ABOUT LIFE, I DON’T KNOW WHEN I WILL DIE, WHAT IF I DIE WHILST CHASING? Well, although I don’t believe in what the Bible Says that, JESUS CAN COME ANY TIME, AND THE WHOLE WORLD WILL BE DESTROYED; HOW ABOUT IF IT IS TRUE, AND IT HAPPENS WHILST I HAVE WASTED ALL THE GOOD THINGS I SHOULD BE ENJOYING, WHILST CHASING? Now, if you are in doubt of what to answer yourself, DROP YOUR KNEES ON THE FLOOR AND BEG GOD TO GIVE YOU THE CORRECT ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS. You don’t have to be a Christian, but if you honestly want God to Help you, HE WILL SPEAK TO YOUR CONSCIENCE. If you listen and do as He Advises you, YOU WILL ENJOY THE OUTCOME. But if your mind still wants you to go chasing, the decision is yours. Then you go in..

After chasing for ONE DAY, NO CATCH, TWO DAYS, NO CATCH, TWO MONTHS, NOTHING, FIVE, SIX….then.. SEVEN, is too LONG TO CONTINUE. STOP AND ask yourself again:

Am I still on the right TRACK?( Try to reconcile the account-how much you have lost yet, including your respect). If I stop here, can I cover up before people around me who might not yet know about my pursuit? If I turn to God at this moment, will He forgive me and SHOW ME A BETTER AND PROFITABLE THING TO CHASE, INSTEAD? WILL HE HELP ME SUCCEED? I have already lost a lot, but since I have now repented, Can He Help me RECOVER? Let us quickly answer you the last batch of the questions. YES, IT WILL BE BETTER FOR YOU THAN CONTINUING IN YOUR OLD PURSUIT, IF GOD IS CONDEMNING YOU THROUGH YOUR CONSCIENCE. SO, STOP HERE, OR YOU SHOULD HAVE STOPPED, THERE, OR EVEN BEFORE THEN! If Satan’s voice is still overwhelming the SOFT AND GENTLE VOICE OF GOD’s Spirit, and you still want to keep chasing your goal, ask yourself the last question: HOW LONG MORE DO I HAVE TO CHASE JUST ONE THING, BEFORE MY HEART IS AT REST? If you keep chasing one THING without getting the RIGHT ANSWER FROM GOD TO ENCOURAGE YOU TO GO ON; IF YOU ARE DOING SO OUT OF YOUR OWN IDEA, AND IT HAS TAKEN YOU TWO YEARS, FOUR, TEN, TWENTY(like a few people I know has CHASED ONE THING FOR THAT NUMBER OF YEARS AND MORE…COUNTING); if you are in the categories of people above, believe it or not, SATAN, IS IN FULL CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE, TO HARM YOU, SERIOUSLY, IF HE HAS NOT ALREADY DONE SO. Might even be that, you have gone so far that, God, Has `TAKEN OVER’ YOUR HEART, TO DO YOU EVIL In any case, you can reduce your punishment, BY RUNNING TO GOD NOW, REPENT, AND BEG FOR MERCY!

Let us now imagine the man who posted the article above, is in the category we have just mentioned. Let’s imagine that, he SANG, OR HAS SUNG, his wrong notes of music for very long, without bringing sense into it; and now, he is in one of the categories of people who NEED TO GO TO GOD FOR FORGIVENESS, AND FOR DELIVERANCE! We, frankly and gladly support that, GOD, AND HIS FORGIVENESS, IS ALL HE NEEDS NOW! No man can save him now, so, he doesn’t need man’s forgiveness at this stage. HE NEEDS TO SETTLE HIS CASE WITH GOD FIRST. It is very likely that, God Would Tell him to complete his deliverance, by going to someone he might have SERIOUSLY WOULDED, and thus beg the person for forgiveness too. Not unless he is Sent by God to the person, his labour to receive any good from the person, will be invain. For one, the person may forgive him, but may never believe that he has GENUINELY REPENTED AND CHANGED, AND IF GIVEN ANY OTHER OPPORTUNITY TO HARM THE PERSON AGAIN, HE WILL NEVER RESTART CHASING THE PERSON FOR EVIL AGAIN!  May the person run to God now before it is too late, and HONESTLY REPENT before Him, and beg Him for FORGIVENESS. That is still THE OLD TIME WAY OF RECEIVING FORGIVENESS. Modern preachers often ignore that point, and go straight into `IF YOU FORGIVE NOT YOUR BROTHER THEIR TRESSPASSES, NEITHER WILL YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER ALSO FORGIVE YOUR TRESSPASS`. The modern preachers often ignore the other part of Jesus’ Instruction that, `IF THY BROTHER SHALL TRESPASS AGAINST THEE, SEVENTY TIMES SEVENTY TIMES, and will REPENT, SEVENTY TIMES SEVENTY, …forgive him`. Modern preachers only promote OFFENSES, and FORGIVENESS; but FAIL to WARN AN OFFENDER AGAINST THE `CURSE` that Jesus Pronounced on OFFENDERS, ESPECIALLY OFFENDERS TO INNOCENT ONES. Jesus did Say, `WOE UNTO THE WORLD BECAUSE OF OFFENCES, FOR THERE MUST NEED BE THAT OFFENCES COME; BUT WOE TO THAT MAN(WOMAN) BY WHOM THE OFFENCE COMETH`!

“DONT BE A KITCHEN WIFE WHO DEPENDS ON HER HUSBAND POCKET FOR SURVIVAL. BE A WOMAN WITH HUSTLE WHO ALSO HELP HER MAN FINANCIALLY”.

A quick reminder that, all our official Services that we post on Facebook, are as the result of the Articles that we find on facebook. So it is with the Article above. I met it many times on facebook, and this year, I decided to use for our Service now. As you can see the ‘QUOTATION MARK’ on it, I wrote it exactly as the person who posted the original, we don’t want to expose the person. You may find a few English language mistakes or punctuation marks missing, but you cannot miss the meaning of the whole sentences.

The advice that the person gave here, is quite sound, provided the intention of the person was sound too, and the heart, innocent. Nevertheless, there advice did not come in full, with explanation that could ease any couple whose marriage may not be exactly as the poster advised. So, we would like to add a few details to it. Whilst it is no man’s business to probe into people’s marriages(especially if it is NATURAL ONE) with advice like this, unless such a person is officially Appointed, for example, a Marriage Counselor-either from a Church, or professionally; it is good to pass a word of advice to young people, or to anyone who wants to go into Marriage. And, what a good place to do so, including SOCIAL MEDIA. Take the advice or ignore it, may not affect the poster in any way. But may I use this opportunity to advise social media users, to be very careful with what the post, because it can cause someone a long ill-impact. Before you post anything, WHISPER A LITTLE PRAYER TO GOD, AND LET HIM CONTROL YOUR HEART AND HAND. CHECK YOUR HEART TO MAKE SURE THAT, ALL YOU WANT TO DO, IS TO HELP SOMEONE TO BENEFIT, SPIRITUALLU, OR PHYSICALLY, OR BOTH, FROM YOUR POST, WITHOUT SELFISH PURPOSE. You can post good or even bad things about yourself, for example, birthdays or achievements. But be careful with advising people. If your post is with DIRTY SCENES, OR DIRTY LANGUAGE, fear God, and remember the young ones who are using same social media. So, change your post. I still remember when I first joined FB in 2010, there was hardly a day that I came across the word that is dirty. If someone wanted to write dirty word, `sh…..t, the full spelling would not be displayed on fb. But it is order and style now, EVEN FROM EDUCATED PEOPLE. You may be a sinner, and if you do not repent, you will one day receive your just but ill reward. The ILL-REWARD is GREATER HERE ON EARTH, IF A YOUNG HEART IS CORRUPTED BECAUSE OF YOUR SIN. SO BE CAREFUL THAT YOU DO NOT DRAG AN INNOCENT PERSON TO COMMIT YOUR PARTICULAR SIN. Jesus Said to the people that, IT WOULD BE BETTER TO HANG A STONE ON SOMEONE, WHO INTENTIONALLY OFFENDED ONE OF THESE INNOCENT CHILDREN; AND BE CAST INTO THE SEA. He Said it would have been better that, such an offender person, were not born. That is how serious it is to CORRUPT AN INNOCENT CHILD!

My addition to our Article above is that, before a man settles down in marriage with a WOMAN, he must make sure he LOVES her NATURALLY, and that the FEELINGS WOULD LAST FOR LIFE. The man should understand her STRNGTH AND WEAKNESS. The man should understand that, it is his NATURAL RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE GREATEST RESPONSIBILITY OF HER FINANCIAL NEEDS. If he marries her when she is employed- the time he marries her, HER EMPLOYMENT SHOULD NOT BE PART OF THE REASONS HE WANTS TO MARRY HER. He should ignore her finances’ ability, and still know that, if the job ends anytime, it is his responsibility to care for the home. In short, the MAN IS A `BREAD-WINNER for his marital home. It started from The Garden of Eden. God had Already Created the world and Adam, Put him in The Garden, and Told him to LOOK AFTER EVERYTHING-PLANTS AND ANIMALS that were there. Later, God, in His Mercy for mankind, Gave Eve to Adam, ONLY AS HELP-MEET, and TO KEEP ADAM COMPANY. Adam was alone, and animals couldn’t keep him company, as a woman, another human being. Another example is when Abraham had to send his servant to go to another country to marry a woman for his son, Isaac-a wife for Isaac, Abraham’s son. Abraham had already Prayed to God about the woman, Rebecca, that Isaac would marry. He sent his servant with some things SUITABLE FOR GIFTS DURING MARRIAGE. So, women, are expensive jewels, ESPECIALLY, DIGNIFIED WOMEN. THEY CAN BE HOT CAKE TO A MAN! There is no place in the Bible that Says that, Rebecca, contributed to Isaac’s financial needs, to care for the family. Isaac must have been a BREAD WINNER.  There is no place in the Bible that Says that, Rebecca, contributed to Isaac’s financial needs, to care for the family. Isaac must have been a BREAD WINNER.  The culture that I come from, seem to follow same example. A man pays to marry the woman of his choice. The woman can get involved in farming, the land to cultivate,  given to her by the husband. The palm Trees produce--oil produce, or the farm-produce, is what she could sell and care for herself, and support the man, as much as she can. If she is educated and in an employment, her salary is for herself, light financial responsibilities, like, some pocket-money, clothes etc, to their children when in school. The father is still THE BREAD-WINNER. In those days, it was a SHAME FOR A WOMAN WHO TAKES THE POSITION OF THE HUSBAND, AS A BREAD WINNER. NO MAN TOO, WOULD BE PROUD TO GIVE UP HIS RESPONSIBILITY TO THE WIFE. The sad part is when a woman earns more and is financially Blessed than the man; but still expects the man to play his part as a man in the home. On that note, I would like to advise MORDERN women, who are educated, and in good employment, that they follow not the old pattern of expecting the husband to play his part, even when she can play that financial part, BETTER AND EASIER than the husband. In short, LOVE, EMPATHY, RESPECT, AND ATTRACTION, SHOULD BE THE SIMPLE THINGS THAT A COUPLE IN MARRIAGE, SHOULD POSSESS TOWARDS ONE ANOTHER. Forget what is a woman or a man’s responsibility, if you want more happiness in your marriage. IF IT IS WHAT YOU CAN DO OR BRING INTO YOUR MARRIAGE, FOR MORE PEACE AND HAPPINESS, PLAY THAT PART EVEN IF IT IS A POPULAR MEN’S/WOMEN’S PART TO PLAY. Cooking is for women, taking care of the children is for the woman, and a reasonable woman knows those are her first office to occupy in marriage. But if the man must come in somewhere, he is welcome to help. When I say, `taking care of the children`, I mean mostly physical care. But BOTH PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHILDRENS’ SPIRITUAL WELFARE. TRAIN THEM WITH THE BIBLE, AND ESPECIALLY, WITH THE EXAMPLE FROM YOUR OWN DAILY LIVING. IF YOUR ACTIONS CORRUPT THEM, YOU ARE ONE OF THE PEOPLE THAT JESUS SAID, `IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER YOU WERE NOT BORN`.

In Western culture regarding marriage, a lot of `artificial` practices are added-ranging from a woman approaching a man for friendship and for marriage, NAGGING A MAN FOR ATTENTION OR FOR MARRIAGE, Dowry, may not be requested by the parents of the bride etc. A woman can be proud to bring a man into her house, and care for him. After the marriage, the wife is not ashamed to play the role of a man, and cater for his financial needs. In my culture, those are FORBIDDEN, if not by the culture, by the parents of the bride. In the other hand, even before marriage, the groom to be, can be helping the family of his bride-to-be, financially. Having said all the above, especially concerning paying DOWRY, there is a State I know, near where I come from where I come from; the Dowry that is often being demanded by the parent of the bride-to-be, is out of proportion on earth! Please, may I suggest that culture  be re-considered. Parent, you are not SELLING YOUR DAUGHTERS TO MEN, it is marriage, when every party should smile and dismiss with happiness. Your Dowry demand, can put off men from marrying your daughters. The result could leave your daughters older than they should be, before marriage. Lower your demands to your son-inlaws. They still have to play their financial responsibilities, with your daughters and children when finally living together, when God would Bless them with some. Moreover, they can keep extending financial hand to you, once in a while, all through the period-life, that they spend with your daughters.

In conclusion, no woman would like to be a FULL TIME KITCHEN WIFE, BRINGING IN NO MONEY FOR ONE ADVANTAGE OR THE OTHER, IN THE FAMILY. Why would she want to get stuck on home activities, when she can get a part time employment, even if it is to care for herself alone, and for social life outside! On the other hand, a good woman who wants to TAKE CARE OF HER YOUNG CHILDREN TO THE PLEASURE OF GOD, AND FOR HER SATISFACTION, TRAINING THEM, AND PRAYING WITH THEM WITHOUT SLEEPING OFF DURING THE PROCESS; CANNOT COMBINE THAT WITH COOKING AND FULL TIME EMPLYMENT. I HAVE BEEN THERE!

Making sure that the person you are communicating with, understands you properly, there are certain thing to bear in mine. Below are some of them:

PUNCTUATION MARKS: You have to punctuate your statements properly. EXAMPLE: 'I WANTED THEM TO CALL HER BEAUTY, PERFECT'. The statement means that, I wanted people to call her name, 'PERFECT'. The same statement can be writen in another way for a different meaning thus:  'I WANTED THEM TO CALL HER, BEAUTY-PERFECT`. That means that, I wanted them to refer to her with the name, 'BEAUTY-PERFECT'.

PIC NUMBER 3 ABOVE:

This requires a FULL ENGLISH LESSON on it, because TENSES(past tense, present tense, future tense, past participle tense, present participle tense etc) is major part of any statement made, and many people often make mistake in their usage of tenses, due to lack of the knowledge of the right tense to use. But we just want to confirm that, the student answering the teacher on the pic above, is right with his usage of the tense in his answer; only if he is sincere with his assessment of the beauty of the teacher. That means that, he knew the teacher in the past, and that, she was more beautiful then than how she looks now. 

ABOUT US-OUR HUMBLE BEGINNINGS.

ON OUR FREEMEAL DAY, WE ALSO DISPLAYED OUR CHARITY PRODUCTS FOR OUR FREEMEAL GUESTS IN THE CENTRE TO CHOOSE FROM. Below are some of those products.

Founded in 2007, Hatifmandu Charity Organization took her first Service to the public with a Free-Meal every Wednesday. Mandu, The Proprietor of Hatifmandu, felt The Leading of God to Share The Gospel Message within her Community, and she decided to do so through Free-Meal. She hired a Hall-venue for the Meeting, and advertised the service in her locality,  inviting people to gather at a local Hall for FREE-MEAL. The advertisement included that, she would be sharing the Word of God whilst the free meal would be enjoyed. Interested people responded to this advertisement and phoned up for further details. Application forms were sent to the respondents, requesting for certain information about them, for example, an address to deliver their meals in case they couldn’t come to the Venue where the gathering took place every Wednesday. Requested information also included the person’s current employment status, for although Mandu’s main Aim for Establishing the Charity Organization was to Spread The Gospel of Jesus Christ to every human being around her, it was obvious that her part-time paid job could not cope for large Free-Meal Distribution. So, in order that she would not miss those who responded, but couldn’t be served with the free meal, she aimed to sell the meal to those who were working and could afford to pay for it, at a VERY REDUCED RATE. God Granted her the Success of being able to Serve these two categories of people, whilst still sharing The Gospel on a one-to-one basis, and in a group to those who were able to come to the Hall.  The Application Form also requested that, the Applicants made a choice of food they would prefer, out of the TWO TYPES of meals that we offered-1) FRIED RICE, SERVED WITH FRIED CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES  2) BABY POTATOES SERVED WITH STEWED CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES. These Applicants names and details were stored on our Data Base, and they were served through their details.

Hatifmandu later, at a very fast rate, grew into having more Services added to the free-meal Service, and having our Volunteers increased from only two people, to many. Mandu needed to register The Charity Organization with The British Charity Commission, and in 2010, God Made it possible that The Charity got her Official Status, when it went through the Registration process, successfully. Our tribute to one of our Volunteers then, whom God Used to Grant Hatifmandu, that official Status! To meet up with the demands from the British Charity Commission, we then nominated some volunteers to form BOARD OF TRUSTEES. Some were appointed to lead, or to manage some other Areas of Services, for example, Bible Quiz Section and THE FREEMEAL.

Some ON-LINE SERVICES, were added to the free-meal Service. Some of the on-line Services are still in operation till date, for example, Bible QUIZ, AND FUN.

MONTHLY PRAYER MEETING was brought into Hatifmandu, and that was the time that all Volunteers and Managers would gather together and pray for the Organization’s Work, for ourselves, and for the whole world. Transport Section of the Organization also was involved in collecting interested people(those we might have known through free-meal Distribution, etc) to our Church on Sundays for the Sunday Services, the Church that many of us were members and worship with the congregation.

We also had SOCIAL SERVICES, once a year, when our Volunteers and Management would be given a little token, to appreciate their service at Hatifmandu. A few Services also took place at Hatifmandu, making it a PROGRESSIVE CHARITY ORGANISATION. Unfortunately, some of those Services have since been DISCONTINUED, either because of finances, or because of shortage of staff, or other challenges.   

If Jesus Tarries His Return to the earth, we are still hopeful that we would bring back some of those Services, for example, THE FREE-MEAL, if God Blesses us with a SUITABLE PREMISES to carry out Hatifmandu Daily Official Work, as it should be.

UPDATE:

To this date(20/09/23), Hatifmandu is left with ONLY ONE ACTIVE VOLUNTEER. We lost all our volunteers/Board Members, when we DISCONTINUED with some of our Services. A few of these people had moved out of the Country, whilst some left the Organization for other personal reasons.

The Proprietor of Hatifmandu was USED to the word `WE`, when Hatifmandu had many volunteers working for her, and when addressing matters concerning Hatifmandu to the public(she became the Representative for Hatifmandu’s Volunteers). So, it no surprising that she is still using the word, `WE`, on behave of Hatifmandu, even when Hatifmandu is now left with only one Volunteer.

Also, if you have been making use of our on-line Services, you would have since come across these three letters, `HIM`, which stand for, `HATIFMANDU`. That abbreviation is easier to use when referring to Hatifmandu, and we started using it since the Establishment of Hatifmandu Charity.

We are glad that our WEBSITE, AND THE PROPRIETOR HERSELF, HAVE GAINED A TREMENDOUS POPULARITY ESPECIALLY IN RECENT YEARS. MILLIONS OF PEOPLE BENEFIT FROM OUR ON-LINE SERVICES, OR `FOLLOW` MANDU UKPE,  ON HER FACEBOOK ACCOUNT. If you have not yet `followed` her, we encourage you to do so, as she is quick to post some interesting ARTICLES THERE, either for Official purposes-on behalf of HIM, or for her personal interaction on fb.

We are no more a Registered Charity with The British Charity Commission, as we were unable to be submitting our Charity Yearly ACCOUNT to them. They bore with us for a year, then decided to strike out our Name from their List. It was difficult for The Proprietor to continuously add that Part of the Job at HIM, to other jobs that she does for HIM, yearly. That ACCOUNTING Work used to be undertaken by our previous WEBSITE MANAGERS. Each one of them used to help HIM on that until the time they left us, some years ago. Mandu took up the ACCOUNTING AND SUBMISSION TO THE BRITISH CHARITY COMMISSION, until she could not cope again, when HIM lost all Her Volunteers and she had to add one or two Services to her work profile.

However, we do not really need any such Official Status at this Stage. One of the reasons we desperately wanted to get The Charity Registered, was in order to GIVE HER RECOGNITION WIDELY.
